Located in Toulouse, France, De Rerum Natura was founded by knitter and designer Solenn Couix-Loarer with the mission of creating “reinvented country yarns” soft enough for her children to wear, with the beauty of natural wool and a close connection to the sheep, the land, and the fibre growers and producers that bring each yarn to life.
De Rerum Natura Alice is a fingering-weight blend of organic Mérinos d’Arles wool from Provence and specially selected linen grown in France and Belgium. With breathability and bounce from the wool, lightness and drape from the linen, and a softly rustic heathered finish, this lovely yarn is ideal for projects from lightweight sweaters and accessories to baby garments and soft, sturdy socks.
