Just Landed: Sustainable, soft, sleek Pascuali Arctic Pearl

We’re excited to debut Pascuali’s new Arctic Pearl fingering weight yarn, which is truly one-of-a-kind. The yarn is made from Lyocell (Seacell), which is a sustainable, vegan fibre produced from a mix of brown seaweed and eucalyptus cellulose fibres. Arctic Pearl comes in Pascuali’s signature vivid colors, while the Lyocell adds a soft sheen. The yarn relaxes and drapes beautifully after blocking and washing.

Whether you are searching for wool-free yarns or ready to try a new fibre, Pascuali Arctic Pearl will be a great option for your warm-weather projects! Lyocell is moisture- and temperature regulating—great for layering or wearing alone, and especially for those “it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity” days we have here in Alexandria. The fibre is also incredibly soft and smooth, which means Arctic Pearl is an excellent choice for makers (and wearers) with sensitive skin.

We also love how Pascuali’s dedication to sustainability, fair trade, animal welfare, and transparency is present in all of their yarns. Arctic Pearl shows how they are fulfilling that mission with advancements in fibre technology. Check out the yarnistas’ pattern picks below and start planning your summer projects with Arctic Pearl!
