I am so excited to finally have Sweet Fiber Yarns from Canada back in stock. The yarn is dyed by Melisa Thomson, who formed Sweet Fiber Yarns in 2011 while earning her BFA at the Emily Carr University of Art & Design in British Columbia. She began knitting in 2007 when her mom opened a local yarn shop in Langley, BC, where she worked part-time and developed her love and knowledge of yarn and knitwear design.
Her yarns are sourced mainly in Canada and dyed to order in small batches. Color inspiration is drawn from daily life in a beautiful place, with particular attention paid to how the colors interact with each other and differing environments.

We are already starting to think of holiday gifts over here and cowls / infinity scarves are definitely a sure bet. Riverbank was designed by the dyer herself, just for this yarn. It uses 2-3 skeins.
Another great gift idea is fingerless mitts. I often make these for friends who have a car commute in the winter. Grab this pattern in print at our shop – Welted Fingerless Mitts by Churchmouse Yarns. It uses just one skein.
For baby / child, local designer Heidi Atwood – Reeves has an adorable design in this yarn. Belle Isle is a quick knit (it has no sleeves!) but can be layered for fall and winter.
