Here’s what is hot and happening here in space!
This weekend is the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. If you haven’t been, it is a wonderful family friendly event that I like to describe as “county fair” meets giant yarn festival. You can see sheep, eat sheep and buy sheep fleece and yarn made from sheep. It’s a giant festival of sheep!
On your way, be sure to stop by fibre space. We stocked up on hand dye and local fibres just in time for the festival. We will also throw you a free shopping bag to use while you are at the festival. Then stop by on your way back and use our self service ball winder to wind up anything that you bought. AND be sure to stop by the Columbia Sip n Knit booth at the entrance to the festival to sign up for our prize drawing and grab some lemonade, some shade and a comfy seat. We are once again sponsoring this spot.
