Take the next step forward in developing your stitching skills with log cabin knitting, a fun and approachable technique that anyone can pick up. This pattern is a quilting classic that’s reimagined in garter stitch. It’s an ideal project for using up leftover yarn, experimenting with color combinations, and creating heirloom-quality pieces without advanced skills. In this class, we’ll put it into practice by making a mini potholder or washcloth: choose wool for a colorful potholder or cotton for a cheerful washcloth. By the end of the class, you’ll feel at ease with the method and ready to make all kinds of projects of your own design!
