You have probably heard by now that we are moving to King Street, and while we are really excited for the future, our move is a tad bittersweet. After twelve years in operation and more than nine years at 1219 King Street (fibre space’s new location), Bizim Collection is closing. Bizim Collection is a small family-owned-and-operated store offering its customers artisanal jewelry, home decor, one-of-a-kind carpets and other unique designs by master artisans in Turkey and other parts of Central Asia. The owners believe that everyone deserves to surround themselves with beautiful things, and more importantly that the craftsmen who create these beautiful things deserve to find the right customers–those who will appreciate their hard work and skill. Bizim Collection is a place of elegance and artistry, and we are sad to see the end to their great cultural contribution to Old Town.
