Here’s what starting in the next week or so:
Introduction to Crochet: Wednesdays, April 24, May 1 & 8, 7-8:30 pm w/ Nicole; $75
OR there’s another session starting Monday, April 29th, and continuing May 6 & 13, 7-8:30 pm, also with Nicole.
This three-week class will get you chaining, single and double-crocheting, as you begin work on your own Tiramisu Baby Blanket. Not up for a whole blanket, but still want to learn the basics? No problem! You can make a sweet dish cloth, instead! No previous experience required.
Tunisian Crochet Cat: Sunday, April 28th, 4-6 pm w/ Jennifer; $40
Did you know you can learn the basic Tunisian crochet stitches, plus how to make an adorable stuffed cat — all in one afternoon? Well, you can! This class is rated “funky” — ability to chain and work basic regular crochet stitches is required.
Introduction to Lace – Lace Blanket: Monday, April 29th, 6-9 pm w/ Lesley; $50
If you can knit and purl, then you’re ready for lace! Learn lace increases & decreases and how to read lace charts in this one-session class. You’ll get started on this adorable lace leaf blanket — perfect for baby or the back of your favorite chair.
BONUS:
We still have a couple of spots left in designer Amy Herzog’s Custom Sweater Design Workshop on Sunday afternoon. From noon-4pm, you’ll learn how to make a sweater that’s knit just to fit you!
Register soon, to give yourself time to create a fabric swatch (at least 6″x6″), reflecting the finished fabric you’d like for your sweater (this is required). You’ll use your swatch along with your design preferences and measurements to create your own perfectly-flattering sweater pattern. Cost is $85.
Give us a call or register online. 703.664.0344.
And a reminder: Amy will be here this Friday evening from 7-9 pm, signing copies of her new book, Knit to Flatter! Jump over here to read all about it!
