Here’s what’s starting in the next week or so:
Perhaps you’ve admired the newest addition to our sofa blankets in the shop? (The pattern is available free, right here on our blog.) Do you know how to knit & purl, and you’d like your own stylish throw or baby blanket? Then this class is for you!
Chevron Baby Blanket – Increases & Decreases: Wednesdays, May 1st & 8th, 7-9 pm w/ Micah; $65
Starting Thursday, we’ve got another “funky” option — ability to knit & purl is all you need!
Intro to Lace Shawls: Thursdays, May 2nd & 9th, 7-9 pm w/ Tanis; $65
You’ll learn all the skills — lace increasing/decreasing & bottom-up shawl construction — to get going on your own Luster Shawl. Luster is an aran-weight shawl, featuring a simple-yet-elegant all over lace pattern, a wavy border and contrasting stripes. It’s fun to knit!
Whether you’re branching out from crochet or you’ve just been itching to learn… We have a couple of intro sessions starting soon, too:
Introduction to Knitting: Sundays, May 5th, 12th & 19th, 12-1:30 pm w/ Holly
OR
Tuesdays, May 7th, 14th & 21st, 7-8:30 pm w/ Micah; $75
And last, but not least, you can get fancy with Fair Isle!
Fair Isle Mittens – Stranded Colorwork: Mondays, May 6th, 13th & 20th, 7-9 pm w/ Tanis; $80
This class is rated “rockin,” which means you should be able to knit & purl, plus have some experience increasing/decreasing or working in the round. If you’ve knit a hat or two, and are wondering what to tackle next, this is it. You’ll learn colorwork chart reading, fair isle techniques and a Latvian braid.
