Knitting for Olive Merino is sourced from Patagonia, where it is responsibly and ethically sourced. This wool is certified by the Responsible Wool Standard, where the certification ensures that both animals, farmers, and the environment are treated respectfully. The certification protects the Five Freedoms of animal welfare, which mean freedom from hunger and thirst, freedom from discomfort, freedom from pain, injury and disease, freedom to express normal behaviour and freedom from fear and distress.
Yarn details:
- 100% non-mulesed Merino wool, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified
- Fingering weight
- 273 yards (200 meters) per 50-gram ball
- 28 stitches and 38 rows over 4” on a US #3 (3.25 mm) needle or hook
- Handwash, lay flat to dry
