De Rerum Natura Ulysse
Ulysse is a woolen yarn of soft white French (Mérinos d’Arles from Provence) and black Portugese Merino (Merinos Petra from Alentejo Valley) produced in France by De Rerum Natura. Like all of their yarns, every step of the making of this yarn is carried out in a sustainable and traceable way to reduce its impact on the environment.
Ulysses is named after the hero of the “Odyssey” who fell in love with Penelope.
Yarn details:
- 100% French Merino
- Sport weight
- 202 yards (185 meters) per 50-gram ball
- 22-24 stitches over 4” on a US#2.5-4 or 3-3.5 mm needle or hook
- handwash, lay flat to dry
