Yarn details:

• 80% superfine sustainable merino, 20% baby alpaca
• DK weight
• 125 yards / 115 meters per 50 grams
• 4-4.5mm (US 6-7; G hook)
• Hand wash with care
• The yarn is single ply, with little twist, but it’s important to note that during the spinning process the fibers are slightly felted, which helps prevent the yarn splitting when working with it.

Ethical Provenance of Mrs Moon Yarns

The tops are from non-mulesed Merino sheep from ethical farms, all the wool is shorn and not a bi-product of the animal skin industry as the sheep are kept for wool production alone.  The alpaca is also shorn, the animals being kept for fibre production only.
