Naturally, we had to plan some colorful projects to cast on – read on to check out fibre space™ owner Danielle’s pattern picks!

We love Spincycle’s handspun-inspired yarns for their magical color-shifting shades and soft blend of American Rambouillet, Targhee and Merino wool, dyed and spun at Spincycle’s own mill in Bellingham, Washington. Sport weight Dyed in the Wool, worsted weight Dream State, and bulky weight Plump are all available in our Alexandria store and our online capsule!

Tips from Spincycle: Due to the “dyed in the wool” process, each skein is unique, even within the same dyelot – be sure to purchase enough yarn at one time to complete your project. If you plan to combine a very saturated colorway with a lighter yarn, test skeins for possible color transfer by soaking them first, as some dyes may exhaust color even after their final wash at the mill.
