Hey stellar stitchers! It’s June once again, and that means it’s time for showing off that crafting PRIDE!
We’ve got a whole rainbow of Pride Month-themed patterns to get you inspired – but first, we wanted to remind you about our partnership with Knit The Rainbow and SMYAL to provide unhoused LGBTQ+ youth with handmade garments for warmth and comfort in the winter months.

Founded in 2020 by actor and activist Austin Rivers, Knit The Rainbow collects new and unworn handmade knitted and crocheted garments to distribute to unhoused LGBTQ+ youth. Originally located in New York, Knit the Rainbow is growing to aid at-risk youth in other cities – in the DC area, they’ve joined forces with local organization SMYAL to help our own LGBTQ+ youth population.

How can you help? Drop off new, unworn, handmade knitted and crocheted winter accessories right here at fibre space™ and we’ll pass them along to SMYAL for distribution. Knit The Rainbow even has a collection of free patterns that you can use! (Learn more about what to make here.)
Now, on to our Pride Month patterns!
