Lavanya Patricella x Manos del Uruguay 2025 Fall Collection

Lavanya Patricella x Manos del Uruguay 2025 Fall Collection

Designer Lavanya Patricella collaborated with Manos del Uruguay to create a collection of new patterns for fall 2025. We love how she pairs unexpected colors together and how her stitches show off the unique qualities of different fibres. And, we love her for her love of brioche–like in the Boxy Brioche Pullover and Two by Two Beanie below! The hat and socks patterns would knit up into cozy holiday gifts, if you’ve looking for a little inspiration.

Lavanya’s designs in this collection spotlights what makes Manos Del Uruguay’s yarn so special: this non-profit worker-owned cooperative spans 12 different villages in Uruguay, all of which care for the land, raise sheep, produce yarns, make garments, and ultimately give back to their communities with these hand-dyed yarns. All of the Manos del Uruguay yarns used in this collection (Cardo, Sami, Marla, and Ideal) are available in space and are some yarnista favs!

Lavanya is a fibre artist, knitting instructor and designer based in North Eastern Pennsylvania. (If you’ve taken the fibre space brioche class, you may have made her Beginners Brioche Cowl!) She’s been teaching knitting since 2010 across the United States, and has published more than 100 original patterns since 2014.

Heather

A family friend taught Heather how to crochet when she was a child, and she taught herself how to knit about ten years later. She’s had a hook or needles in hand ever since. Heather makes whimsical amigurumi and blankets, but also makes socks, shawls, and sweaters to highlight gorgeous dyes and fibers. She’s excited to join the fibre space community and to help more folks tap into their creativity!
