We’ve passed the half-way point of our New Years Knit Along, and I have a lot of catching up to do. We’ve seen so many of you stop by the shop with your finished makes, and we love to see it! Keep them coming! Some of you have been sharing progress in the Ravelry forum, and that has been a great source of encouragement to keep going even though I feel like I’ve fallen behind! I perhaps bit off more than I could chew attempting to make BOTH the beret (which I’ve restarted a couple of times) and fingerless mitts (pictured below) But, I’ve made a little progress on the first mitt – it’s at least finally past the ribbing!
Kerry’s mitts have grown exponentially more than my own, as she took them as her travel project in early January.
Heather’s mitts have come a long way and are almost done! However, she did lose yarn chicken so they’re on pause while she picks up an additional ball of yarn.
And our last update is Sam’s lovely Cardigan! She says the cardigan is “[t]ruly working up beautifully! Definitely a project that needs all your attention but I’ve been loving every second of all the cables and grains! I haven’t had much trouble with it but I have to back track sometimes when I get too in the zone because things change quickly!”
Keep sharing your progress on Instagram using #FSNYKAL2024 so we can all be inspired!
