Featured Project: Holly Sweater by Pernille Larsen

Featured Project: Holly Sweater by Pernille Larsen

There’s something about the cold winter months that puts us in the mood for fair isle. And there’s something about the holiday season that inspires the need to indulge in a sweater for ourselves. We stumbled upon this holiday inspired sweater by Pernille Larsen of Knitting for Olive, and we were immediately obsessed. Featuring a simple colorwork motif and some bobbles, the Holly Sweater brings the idea of garland and trim to life and will be a wardrobe classic for years to come. Made holding together Knitting for Olive’s luscious soft silk mohair together with their merino, this sweater knits up at a DK gauge, providing the perfectly wearable level of warmth and cozy. This sweater is perfect for those office holiday parties that are finally happening in person again, or for looking cute and cozy around the table at a holiday meal with friends and family. We think this sweater is a classic we’ll be reaching for year after year to wear again and again. It’s so cute, we might have to knit two!
