Just Landed – De Rerum Natura Bérénice

Mohair is having a moment, and we’re excited to welcome Bérénice from De Rerum Natura to space! Comprised of unique blend of extra-fine Angora goat fibres from South African farms, Bérénice takes this super kid ethical mohair and combines it with the soft, plump wool of organic Arles Merino brushed around a silk thread.  The soft loops are then combed to give a tousled, voluminous look. Bérénice is dyed using ecological dyes that comply with GOTS specifications to reduce its environmental impact and manufactured in Italy, near Biella.

Bérénice was created to enrich the textures and colors of their yarns and open up new horizons for them. Combined with Ulysse, Gilliatt and Cyrano, it elevates these greatly loved staples to discreetly shiny and irresistibly soft luxury knits. Whether tone-on-tone or playing on more adventurous contrasts, these combinations add depth and a new sparkle to the palette of our yarns and make you want to rediscover them in a new range of projects and gauges. The yarnistas can hardly wait to experiment!
