Socks, while taking a bit of time to make, are one of my favorite items to gift this time of year. I usually pair them with a bar of wool soap and a candle or a fizzling bath tablet from Red Barn Mercantile to make a complete gift. Our team loves the Thickmas pattern because it is a wonderful basic sock pattern that works up quickly in two strands of fingering held together. Change out one of the colors for the toe, heel and cuff to achieve the cute two color pairs seen below. With sizing for everyone from baby to large adult, you are sure to check another gift off your list with this pattern. For the adventurous, you can knit the cabled version that is included in the pattern or just stick with the “vanilla” stockinette version.
