We are so excited to welcome to the shop the newest member of the Freia Fibers family- Superwash Worsted!
This yarn is made up of 100% super soft, cruelty-free Shaniko Merino. Ethically raised and minimally processed US wool is sourced entirely from sheep in the Great Basin region of the western United States by family ranches that have been raising sheep and taking care of the land for generations. This yarn is round, bouncy, and super saturated in the colors you already loved from Freia Fibers.
Each skein is a whopping 150 grams- 330 yarns of gorgeous color to play with! The classic Freia gradients are also paired with smaller, solid 100 gram skeins, 220 yards each. Pick out the perfect duo for colorwork, sweater yokes, or heavier shawls, all with the benefits of easy care. If you’ve had a chance to play with the SoleMate sock yarn, the worsted is made up of the same yarn
