We are beyond excited to partner with @knittherainbowinc, an organization that collects new and unworn handmade knitted and crocheted garments to distribute to unhoused LGBTQ+ youth. Originally located in New York and New Jersey, Knit the Rainbow is now growing its network--and we are happy to join as a drop-off partner for the DMV. fibre space will now collect knit and crochet winter accessories that will go directly to LGBTQ+ youth in our community to help make the winter months a little more comfortable. The incredible organization SMYAL @smyal_dmv will handle distribution to local unhoused LGBTQ+ youth. For over 40 years, SMYAL has provided essential support and empowerment to LGBTQ+ youth in the Washington metropolitan region and beyond. Just Landed! Single origin, American grown, American dyed, American spun - there are so many reasons to love Jill Draper Kingston! Kingston is sourced from Targhee wool from the finger lakes of New York. Jill Draper and her team then dye the fibre in the wool and send it off to New Hampshire where it`s spun woolen-style into a round and bouncy 3-ply yarn. Each colorway is named after a street in Jill`s hometown of Kingston and reflects the vibrant shades of Fall in the Hudson Valley.
