We currently have the largest selection of colors of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool that we’ve ever had in space – just in time for this new pattern from designer Andrea Mowry. The Cinnabar Shawl perfectly shows off the gorgeous color changes of Dyed in the Wool, especially when paired with the subtly heathered solids of de rerum Natura Ulysse.

On Our Needles: Beth’s Cinnabar Shawl
From our yarnista Beth, who is currently working on this shawl:
I love simple brioche – to me, it’s the perfect stitch to show off the subtle color changes of Dyed in the Wool. Although this shawl looks complicated, once you get going, the knitting is repetitive and intuitive – exactly what I need to relax into a project at the end of the day. de re rum natura Ulysse is one of my favorite all-purpose yarns, so I knew it would be a great choice for the solid MC. I’m loving my shawl already – it’s engaging enough to keep me interested, but easy enough to pick up and put down. Is it wrong to already be planning a second color combo?
Our Suggested Color Pairings
The yarnistas picked out their favorite color combinations of Dyed in the Wool and Ulysse to inspire you! Whether you want bold and bright, or soft and subtle, these two yarns pair beautifully together for a project that is pure cozy comfort.
