Old Town Alexandria is hosting its first Old Town Cocktail Week, an event designed to encourage visitors to “Drink Up Old Town.” Like Restaurant Week, this event will highlight craft cocktails at featured restaurants and retailers, and over 20 other activities including cocktail tastings and seminars. If you are in Old Town for the Hazel Knits Pop Up, be sure to hit some of our neighbors for these amazing events!

Old Town Cocktail Week begins at the Torpedo Factory Art Center with Art on the Rocks on May 3rd, presented by the Art League at the Torpedo Factory Art Center and closes with Meet the Makers Spirits Tasting Event on May 11 at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum. Find out more at Visit Alexandria.

Sugarfina Cocktail Kit Tasting at Penny Post

May 4, 1-4 pm – free event!

In honor of Alexandria’s Cocktail Week, Penny Post is offering tastings featuring Sugarfina’s limited edition cocktail kits. On Saturday, May 4 from 1-4 p.m., we will be mixing up Old Fashioneds with boozy bourbon bears and Rosé-Elderflower cocktails with rose gummies. It is sure to be a very sweet event and we’re looking forward to clinking glasses with each and every one of you!
