The waterfront plaza on King Street has been undergoing changes this summer, and is ready to welcome guests this fall with the Portside in Old Town Festival. October 12-14 the new King Street Waterfront Park, located on the site of the Old Dominion Boat Club, will celebrate Alexandria with food, drink, music, historical tours, and more.

Our friends at Alexandria’s finest local brewery will be celebrating the new park on the Waterfront of King Street three exciting weekends of Portside programming. This October, join Port City to toast the Waterfront. Each weekend will have featured brews and activities.

Oktoberfest Weekend (October 12-14) will showcase live music and Oktoberfest, Wit, Monumental and Pilsner beers.

Celebrate IPAs October 19-20 with more live music and Wit, Monumental IPA, Essential Pale Ale, Integral IPA.

Close out the month with Dark Beers (Porter, Baltic Porter, Optimal Wit and Colossal 7)
and Halloween October 26-27, including American Beer History Trivia on October 27 from 4:30-6:30pm (sign up required).
