Old Town Happenings: George Washington Birthday Parade

Be sure to swing by Old Town this afternoon from 1-3pm for the George Washington Birthday Parade in honor of President’s Day and George Washington’s 285th birthday!

The George Washington Birthday Parade is an annual event with nearly 3500 participants that snakes 1 mile through the historic heart of Old Town. The oldest and largest parade of its kind in the country, this parade is one to not miss. With participants including historical groups, youth groups, bands, horses and dogs, this event is perfect for the entire family and today’s stellar spring weather is the cherry on top!
