The Woolens collection by Jared Flood will be in space through this weekend. Be sure to swing by to see all 11 beautiful accessory patterns in person and pick up a copy of the book.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus are coming to space in plenty of time to make lovely Christmas cards! They will be here on Thursday, November 17^th. You will have a specific 15-minute window, meaning less waiting time for you and your little ones! There are still slots left, but they will go very quickly!

Classes

Treat yourself to a new skill this fall with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!

Learn the basics of cabling, chart reading and creating a button band in the Cabled Mitts class beginning on Thursday, November 3^rd. You’ll be an expert in no time, so these mitts will be perfect for all your holiday gifting. $65.

The Jimi Shawl class starting on Thursday, November 3^rd is a great beginner shawl class with the designer, Dee O’Keefe. Learn a variety of useful techniques, including increases, basic lace and striping. $65.

Learn all the essential blocking skills to make your projects shine to their fullest potential in Blocking 101. Learn different techniques for blocking and how to block a variety of patterns and shapes. Class is on Saturday, November 5^th. $40.

Have you ever been mystified by double thick, reversible two color projects? Be mystified no more! Learn the basics of creating two pieces of fabric at the same time on one needle in the Double Knitting class on Saturday, November 5^th. $40.

Want to create cool jogless, spiraling stripes in the round but don’t know the best way to do it? Check out the Helix Knitting class on Saturday, November 5^th. You’ll learn all you need to know about this cool technique while making a sweet baby blanket. $40.

The First Hat – Ribbed Beanie class is a great second course after completing the Intro to Knitting Course. This class begins on Sunday, November 6^th and gives you the option of a beanie or slouch hat. $65.

The Entrelac Scarf – Purling Backwards course is a great intro to the technique of purling backwards (sure to speed up your knitting) all while learning the unique art of entrelac. This course begins on Monday, November 7^th and you have the option of knitting a scarf or wrap. $65.

Learn how to make a whimsical spiral hat, Elizabeth Zimmerman style! You’ll work in a spiral up to the crown, giving this hat a sweet spiral just like ice cream. The Spiral Hat class begins on Wednesday, November 9^th. $65.

Old Town Happenings

Don’t forget about your furry friend when it comes to Halloween! Doggy Trick-or-Treating will happen on Sunday, October 3oth from 1pm-3pm throughout Old Town. Swing by The Dog Park at 705 King Street to pick up your map and goody bag. There will also be a costume contest, so don’t forget to dress up with your pup.

Celebrate Halloween Old Town style by trick-or-treating and shopping your favorite boutiques on Monday, October 31^st from 2pm to 6pm. Dozens of shops in the Old Town Boutique District will be handing out treats to ghost and goblins of all ages.
