Mark your calendars for World Wide Knit in Public Day on June 18th. Join us from 1-4 pm at the Commerce Street Park to share our craft with the world. We’ll also have prize drawings all day!
Nothing’s better than no risk and all reward! Ann Weaver’s new workshop No Risk, All Reward Steeks! on June 25th is a great introduction to the world of steeking colorwork. Using old store bought or thrifted sweaters, you’ll master steeking without spending countless hours knitting ahead of time. But once through, you’ll have all the skills you need to complete your own handknit steeked sweater while having a super cute cardigan from class.
Jill Draper and all her stuff are coming to space! Join us on June 17th and 18th for the Jill Draper Makes Stuff trunk show. Meet Jill and shop a huge variety of her beautiful yarns, spinning fiber and kits. She’ll even have one of a kind colorways and exclusive kits, as well as a brand new yarn debuting at the shop!

Move beyond scarves and other flat projects with the Beanie Hat class on Wednesday, June 1st. This is a great second class option that will get you well on your way to your first hat. $50.
If you’re ready to try the fun world of knitted cables, check out the Intro to Cabling – Cabled Scarf class on Thursday, June 2nd. $40.
Get comfortable with lace in the Introduction to Lace Stoles class beginning on Saturday, June 4th. $65.
The Entrelac Scarf – Purling Backwards course is a great intro to the technique of purling backwards (sure to speed up your knitting) all while learning the unique art of entrelac. This course begins on Saturday, June 4th and you have the option of knitting a scarf or wrap. $65.
Learn how to knit lace while making your very own lace shawl in the Intro to Lace Shawls class starting on Saturday, June 4th. $65.
If you have ever wanted to learn how to make your own yarn, drop spindling is a great way to get started! Spinning 101 begins on Sunday, June 5th and will get you on your way to making your own extra special yarn. $65.
Socks are a great portable project. Try your hand at knitting socks in the Top Down Socks Class. Class begins on Sunday, June 5th and you’ll be addicted to sock knitting before you know it! $80.
The Beginner Hat class beginning on March 22 is another great refresher course that helps grow your skills. Review casting on and learn to knit in the round while make an adorable textured hat perfect for the entire family. $65.
Have you taken Dee O’Keefe’s Lace Stole Design course and want to delve deeper into the world of lace design? The Triangular Lace Shawl Design class starting on Sunday, June 5th is perfect for learning all the tips and techniques for creating your very own beautiful lace creation. $80.
