Greetings from space! Here’s what’s been happening around the shop this week and upcoming classes and events.
New Arrivals
Sock designing wizard Rachel Coopey of CoopKnits now has a brand new yarn line! Socks Yeah! is a lovely 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon light fingering weight yarn perfect for socks or other accessories. Available in 50g skeins, they are also perfect for colorwork projects. Check out this post for more information. This smooth, tightly twisted yarn is sure to become a favorite! We’ve also received copies of CoopKnits Socks Volume 1 and Volume 2 that are full of fun and fabulous socks.
We have had a full restock of Freia yarns! We received Freia Ombré Sock ($23), Ombré Worsted ($30) and Super Bulky ($34) in a wide range of the fabulous colorways Freia is known for. Pick up a two different colors of the Sock and a coordinating skein of sock yarn for a Knockout Round shawl, two cakes of Worsted for a Casu Cowl or one Super Bulky for The Big Hat. This yarn also makes great last minute projects for your holiday gifting that are sure to impress.
New in space this week are bags by Jordana Paige. We just received the Quinn bag with all its glorious interior pockets! Available in Praline and Cranberry and made with vegan faux leather, this bag is perfect for you or that hard-to-shop-for crafter on your list. We also received the Crafter’s Tool Butler that is just right for storing all your needles, hooks and notions in one convenient place.
Capsule books are back in space and all have been signed by designer Olga Buraya-Kefelian herself! Be sure to pick one up since these are sure to go.
We’ve just received a new shipment of Chica project bags and notions pouches that add a bit of color to your crafting!
The latest Interweave Crochet and Spin-Off magazines have just landed!
We’ve had a full restock of two of our cotton favorites: Berroco Remix and Modern Cotton. Be sure to check these yarns out, including a few new colors.
Events
The Fibre Company Cumbria trunk show has just arrived! All of the items are from the Cumbria Collection and highlight this wonderful worsted weight yarn. We are fully stocked with many lovely colors of Cumbria perfect for these inspiring sweaters and accessories.
The Brooklyn Tweed Fall 15 Trunk Show will be in space from December 5th to 13th. Check out the lookbook here and swing by see these beautiful items in all three of Brooklyn Tweed’s yarns in person.

Take some time this winter to increase your skill set while creating great projects! While our current semester of classes is winding down, we are busy scheduling our winter semester.
