Project Ideas:
Bedale by Rachel Coopey is a classic beanie hat with simple Fair Isle motif. Designed to have a little slouch, this hat would look fabulous knit up out of your two favorite colors.
Another lovely and more feminine two color hat is Selbu Modern by Kate Gagnon Osborn. This beret uses a pretty floral motif inspired by a Norwegian wall hanging. While any color combination would work, this hat would look gorgeous with a neutral background with a bright contrasting color for the flowers.
Carina Spencer’s Brush Creek Cowlette is perfect to showcase three colors of Socks Yeah! in a gradient. Pair three colors together in a traditional gradient or a bright color with a few neutrals for an unexpected twist.
Hulanicki by Rachel Coopey found in the current Winter 2015 edition of Pom Pom Quarterly uses diagonal lines to create a bold chevron-like design down the side of the leg that continues onto the foot. Twisted stitches are utilized to further make a graphic statement.
For you colorwork sock fans, check out Rachel’s Talia. These knee socks feature a bit of texture around the cuff before breaking into an all-over colorwork pattern down the leg that is repeated again before the toes.
