New Arrivals

We are restocked with a great color selection from The Fiberists! Each skein of Audubon Worsted packs 210 yards of 100% Superwash Merino. $25 per skein.

The latest shipment from Periwinkle Sheep brought us a whopping 22 colorways in Watercolors. This delightful fingering blend of 75% merino/25% nylon carries 460 yards per skein, making it perfect for a two-color shawl. (Check out our June knitalong, below)

Yarn bowls are back in stock! We’ve got a colorful array from Pawley Studios, available for $37 per bowl.

Notion cases are back! These super handy cases come in three colors and are available for $6 each.

Classes

Knitting isn’t just a cold weather activity. Get a jump on your fall wardrobe and learn a few skills to take with you on vacation this summer.

We love teaching new knitters and crocheters. Our next Introduction to Knitting sessions start Saturday, May 23, Sunday, May 31, and Tuesday, June 4. The next Introduction to Crochet classes kick off Sunday, May 31.

Try your hand at sweaters with our Top Down Raglan – Summer Tee. This three-week class teaches the fundamentals of sweater construction all while knitting a cute summer tee, beginning Monday, June 8. ($80)

Looking for a portable project for the summer months? Learn to make socks with our Beginner Socks from the Toe Up, starting on Saturday, June 13 at 2 pm. ($80)

Events

Master designer Kirsten Kapur is joining us in two weeks for shawl workshops and a book signing! Kirsten’s first book, Kirsten Kapur Designs Shawl Book One, a collection of her best loved shawls, has recently been released and is available at the shop. She will be signing books and sharing the trunk show with us on Saturday, June 6 from 10 am-7 pm. Additionally, Kirsten will be teaching the Duane Park Shawl on Saturday, June 6 from 2-6 pm ($85). Danielle is kicking off a June knitalong from Kirsten’s designs (more below). Sign up for a workshop to get the inside scoop from the designer herself and then join us in June when we get down to shawl making.

What’s Hot

We’re getting excited for our next knitalong. Join us in June for our Duane Park Shawl Knitalong. The designer Kirsten Kapur will be teaching the shawl as an upcoming workshop on June 6th, and we’ll be hosting a day long stitch-in on Memorial Day this Monday. Learn more about the knitalong here.
