Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for you and wish you all a happy and safe holiday.
New Arrivals
Big shipments have been landing all week. We’ve had major restocks from Neighborhood Fiber Co. (Studio Chunky!), Holly Aiken, and many more. We have been working hard to get the shop ready for everything you might want this weekend!
This week we also added a brand new base of Freia Yarns to our walls. This of 70% merino/30% silk fingering is available in 24 colorways and costs $32. This is the same blend as the worsted weight (just restocked) and packs in 313 yards per skein.
Events
Join us this weekend for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday!
The day after Thanksgiving is one of the biggest shopping days of the year, and the largest single sale you will ever find at fibre space.™ Don’t fight the mall traffic and crowds this year! Instead, enjoy a more pleasant gift buying experience by shopping your locally owned boutiques during the fourth annual Old Town Black Friday Sale. Here at the shop, enjoy the following discounts:
6-8 AM: 30% off the entire store!
8-10 AM: 20% off the entire store!
10 AM – 6 PM: 10% off the entire store!
And to sweeten the pot, the City of Alexandria will offer free parking! Parking will be free on Friday in city-owned garages and lots along with free street meters. The Old Town Trolley starts running at 6 am.
Sale applies to in stock items only. Discounts may not be used on services, clubs or items ordered or on hold. Must be present. May not be combined with any other discount. All sales are FINAL. Coupons are given upon entry and may be used at any time that day. You must enter the store before 8 AM to receive 30% off coupon.
And, whether you make it to our Black Friday sale or not, be sure to stop by the shop for Small Business Saturday!
–>Shop at small local businesses, get cash back! Register your American Express Card here to get up to three $10 statement credits for shopping small on Small Business Saturday.
Founded by American Express, Small Business Saturday is designed to encourage shoppers to shop at the small, locally owned businesses that help to support and develop community. Why should you shop small? Because small businesses are both locally owned and staffed. A successful business means higher sales which in turn can mean higher sales taxes that benefit the local community as a whole. So after you’ve shopped until you’ve dropped on Black Friday, take some time on Small Business Saturday to show some love to your local businesses.
