Using slightly less than two skeins of our newest DK weight yarn, the Duotone cowl nicely shows off the yarn’s semisolid variation and delicious squishiness (yes, that’s definitely a word). The pattern, available as a free Ravelry download, creates a fabric with a generous drape by knitting with larger needles (size 8 for the shop sample), and employs a provisional cast on and graft to eliminate any awkward seams in the finished product.

For the shop sample, I used Fiberstory CORE DK in Midnight and Heirloom. The classic color pairing would look great under a winter coat or worn alone.
