If you love shoes… or bags… or awesome accessories, you’ll want to make note of two special events happening this weekend at two Old Town shoe stores.

Starting Thursday, Bishop Boutique is hosting an Elaine Turner trunk show, featuring both shoes and accessories. The Bishop Boutique blog says Elaine Turner is not only the brain behind some of the most beautiful shoes and bags you’ve ever seen, but she’s also a mom, philanthropist and a fierce businesswoman. The trunk show will be in the shop through Sunday. There’s also a 15% off sale and a free gift with purchase.

And the Gigi New York trunk show makes a stop at The Shoe Hive starting Friday. Look for bags, clutches and other small leather goods that can be monogrammed for free at the store before you leave. There also will be a few special trunk show bag styles and more of the popular pony hair bags and clutches that, according to the store’s blog, flew out of the store earlier this month. The best part? All Gigi bags will be 20% off during the trunk show! Gigi New York goodies will be at the shop through Sunday.
