Red Rock Canyon Part 3

So you know when you look down and realize that there is no way that the tiny ball of yarn in your lap is enough to complete 6 more rows of the chart you are currently on? Yeah. So that happened. I decided to frog back to before the last repeat of one of the previous charts and simply end the shawl on the last full chart of blue lace that I was able to complete. I worked two more rows of stockinette and then worked the picot bind off, which I did without paying much attention to the very specific instructions in the pattern. Since my stitch count was at this point totally off, I just worked the same picot instructions over and over without changing it up to accommodate the rise and fall in the lace. Eh, it’s a shawl. No one will notice, right?
