Hempathy is back

I am so excited to have Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy back in the shop for Spring! Hempathy has been around for a long time, and with good reason. It is a workhorse spring / summer  yarn of cotton, hemp and rayon. It knits somewhere between sport and DK. There are some wonderful new colors available in this yarn as well. Here are just a few that we have in:

Although I already have a couple of garments in this yarn, I am just itching for another, especially since the cold weather has still got me and the baby trapped inside so much.

Here are a few on my short list for spring:

Vesper

I think this one has been on my list for years. Really, I just need to make it! It is originally designed in Hempathy and is a free download. Can’t get any better than that.

Elemental Boatneck

I love the shape of this sweater! The neckline and detail is perfect and it would work as slightly oversized (a current staple in my wardrobe). AND the designer is one that I trust and love for solid pattern instructions – Hannah Fettig.
