Hey guys (and people that know guys):
Something special has arrived, and I am super-excited to be able to tell you about it!
As you may have cleverly surmised from the title of this post, once again Brooklyn Tweed has brought us a new pattern collection coming out from a great assortment of designers – and this time it’s all about the gentlemen.
(Don’t stop reading, ladies, there are plenty of great unisex hats and scarves in the collection and one of the sweaters has a women’s version!)

Guys and the people that knit for them will be excited to see the eight great sweater patterns (two of them with Tall versions for Micah-sized people).

From Véronik Avery there’s Barrett, a handsome V-necked pullover with ribbed raglan shoulders. You’ll need 7-12 skeins of Shelter to knit this, or 8-12 for the Tall version.

Véronik also designed Hugo, an Aran-style cabled pullover with a ribbed collar. You’ll need 9-13 skeins of Shelter for the Regular version or 9-14 for the Tall version.
Julie Hoover brings us two classic pullovers, Chesterfield and Redford.

Chesterfield, a raglan turtleneck, has great contrast striping and is knit with Loft held double. You’ll need a total of 13-17 skeins for the Men’s version or 10-16 skeins for the Women’s version.

Redford has an easy crew-neck silhouette with flattering side seaming – you’ll need 6-9 skeins of Loft to knit this up.

Jared Flood contributes Fort, a sturdy seed-stitch pullover with elbow patches, and Timberline, an intricately cabled shawl-collar cardigan.

You’ll need 10-15 skeins of Shelter to knit Fort, plus a skein of Loft for the patches. Timberline takes 15-21 skeins of Shelter to work up all those springy cables.

Finally from Michelle Wang there’s Slade, a relaxed shawl-collared cardigan, and Squall, a fisherman-inspired ribbed pullover. You’ll need 9-13 skeins of Shelter for Slade or 12-18 for Squall.

Each designer also pitches in with an assortment of hat and scarf patterns to bring the pattern total for the collection up to 13 (more if you count up all the different versions provided!)
