Four years ago today, I opened the doors to fibre space™ at our original location on Fayette Street. It was a long time in the making, having started as a knitting instruction business 3 years earlier. The expansion into “yarn shop” was the next natural step, but one that many of you really encouraged me to take. You all have helped to make this yarn shop a community for stitchers in the DC metro area and beyond. For that, I am incredibly grateful. If you haven’t come out to our new location on King Street, stop by soon! We now have even more space, an expanded events area and a lovely bright lounge to sit and stitch in.
