If you haven’t yet made plans for this weekend, come learn all the tips and tricks to finish your sweaters with finesse. Designer Ann Weaver will be here on Saturday for a fun and ultra-informative little workshop, and there’s still space available:
Finishing Techniques with Ann Weaver: Saturday, June 15th 12-2pm; $50
Do you have projects piling up, awaiting final touches such as seaming, grafting, weaving in ends, or working button bands? Are your finishing skills, or lack of, dragging your knitting down? This class is for you! You need only know how to cast on, knit, and bind off.
Beginner Socks or Stockings from the Toe-up: Saturdays, June 15, 22 & 29, 1-3pm w/ Holly; $80
Learn to knit quick socks or a holiday stocking from the toe up with larger yarn and needles. -This class is rated “rockin” – experience increasing and decreasing and working in the round is required.

Introduction to Knitting: One session starting Wednesday, June 12th (7-8:30pm w/ Micah) and one starting Saturday, June 15th (10-11:30am w/ Holly); $75
This 3-week course will get you started on your very first scarf, and cover all the basics.

Introduction to Crochet: Sundays, June 16, 23 & 30, 2-3:30pm w/ Nicole; $75
Learn the basics of crochet and get started on an adorable baby blanket or throw.

Advanced Lace Shawl: Mondays, June 17, 24 & July 8, 7-9pm w/ Tanis; $80
The Edwina Shawl is a delicate, top-down triangular lace shawl with traditional and Estonian stitch patterns that flow seamlessly from one to the next until ending in a geometric border that echoes the shapes created by the patterns of the shawl body.
-This class is rated “uberchic” – for knitters with several projects under their belts. Some lace experience is advised.
This one is a great “next step” for recent Intro to Crochet grads, or anyone looking to get just a little fancy with their hook:
Crochet Chevron Cowl: Monday, June 17, 7-9pm w/ Nicole; $40
Learn the basics of the chevron stitch pattern with this quick cowl!
-This class is rated “funky” – ability to chain stitch and double crochet is required.
Believe it or not, all you need for this class is the ability to knit & purl:
Fairytale Castle Baby Blanket: Tuesdays, June 18 & 25, 7-9pm w/ Tanis; $65
Sleeping Baby’ Castle Blanket – a castle surrounded by vines and turret ribs – can be used as a baby’s blanket or as a small throw or lap blanket.
Lastly, this fun class will help you create a personalized dress form that will really take your garment knitting to the next level! Don’t miss it:
Duct Tape Dress Form: Saturday, June 22, 1-5pm w/ Jennifer; $70
Learn how to create a dress form and take proper measurements.
-This class is rated “rockin” – Ability to knit and purl and experience increasing and decreasing /or working in the round.
If you know a young one who’s eager to get stitching, Vacation Fibre School is here! Kids ages 7-14 have a BLAST learning to knit and/or expanding their existing skills. They also dip their toes into many of the other wonders of fibre, including spool-knitting, felt-making, yarn dyeing, braiding and knotting techniques, and use of beads in fibre projects. They also visit a nearby playground each day.
We are offering two sessions in July:
