This week was an exciting week for new arrivals at the shop. We got a hand delivered batch of shop favorite – Neighborhood Fiber Co Studio Worsted. Each skein is a whopping 400 yards and is $40. We even got a large quantity of the hot color of the season – Rock Creek Park (a deep gorgeous emerald shade). We also received a base that is new to the store – Capital Luxury Sport. Luxury Sport is a soft and squishy blend of 80% merino, 10% cashmere and 10% nylon. Each skein is 250 yards and costs $28.
Traveling all the way from Ireland, Hedgehog Fibres yarn is rich in color and always filled with a bit of luxury. The Twist Sock is a new yarn to the shop. Each skein is 365 meters of BFL and nylon is a 2-ply twist. It is $31. We also received a wonderful selection of Cashmere / Merino Top for the felters and spinners. Each braid is $30, and we have a variety of wonderful hand dyed colorways. This stuff is amazingly soft and smooshy.
