This cowl is shaped by a unique curved edge formed by picking up stitches along the side of the piece. A dash of stripes and subtle decreases make this quick knit entertaining and the perfect pop of color for winter layers. I recommend knitting in a bright color paired with a neutral. The Bent Cowl offers just enough twists and turns to be worn in several ways, making the wearer put a personal touch on it.

Place remaining sts on waste yarn.
Unpick Provisional cast on and place cast on sts on waste yarn.
Take both ends and tie them together (like you would a shoelace). Ensuring that there are no extra twists in the cowl, place both ends together so that they meet with WS facing.
Place the stitches of each end of the cowl on two separate needles, and join two ends using Kitchener stitch or 3-Needle Bind Off.
Weave in ends and block.
