I love a good accessory piece that I can throw around my neck earlier in the winter season. Last week I taught an Intro to Lace class and thought I might as well knit the pattern along with my students 😉 The project is the Troubador pattern by Tanis Gray (free on Ravelry!). The yarn is Plucky Sweater in the Yellow Submarine colorway.

The pattern is charted and written out. If you can work increases and decreases, this will work up quickly. I found it very easy to memorize as well. I did cast on an extra 8 stitches to add another repeat of the lace panel (for a total of three instead of two).
