Where my Stitches at?

Where my Stitches at?

It’s that time of year again. Stitches East is hitting our area and coming to the Baltimore Convention Center, Thursday November 6th through Sunday November 9th. This is the last year that this amazing knit and crochet convention will occur so close, so do take advantage! Stitches is the place to take interesting knitting classes, attend amazing events and shop the market…did I mention the market? Lets talk about that for a moment…picture an entire convention center expo floor filled with yarn vendors. Some of them don’t sell directly to the public at any other time. Some of them are hard to find fibers from farms and mills that only sell at Stitches and Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. Some of them are local and non local yarn shops that use this to sell some of the rarer fibers and products. Have you seen my Knitrix t-shirt and SSK magnet? Those were purchased as Stitches. It is the mother lode of shopping for an avid knitter. Here is a list of the vendors.

So..hadn’t planned on going? You should! And I will take you!

I am planning to leave for stitches Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. from the King Street Metro station parking lot. I have three spots left in my car. (Olga already stole one) There is a Starbucks across the street, so no worries, you will have access to caffeine. If you want a spot in my car, comment here or send me an email. If you are willing to drive a car up there, post here or send me an email. There is a cost for entering the market, so be sure to bring cash. My car will remain at the show until around 3 p.m. I plan to take a break for lunch at some point in the day.
