Whatcha workin on?

Whatcha workin on?

Other than the Central Park Hoodie, what are folks knitting now? (And don’t tell me its still that pair of socks from last fall’s class…)

I started the samples for the Cabled Raglan class and the Fair Isle Mitten classes. The cabled raglan is seen here to the left. I am about 3/4 of the way up to the where the arms will attach. No arms knitted yet though. I used (wait, guess…guess…yup, you got it) the Fiber Company! It is their Road to China which I purchased at MSWF this May. Finally, using the stash yarn and from my favorite company.

By the way, I am sitting at Buzz Bakery right now eating a scallion, cheddar and ham scone (which is amazing) and I just bought this blob of happiness. The lady mentioned something about raspberry puree but I didn’t really hear anything after “chocolate mouse filling.” I realize that its barely noon, but really anything is allowed after noon, so I will wait until then to eat it. (My gram used to wait until 12:01 to start drinking, so I learned this rule from a pro. Anyone with that many boys has to drink regularly. I knit. She drank. Really, it’s all a way to cope.)

Anyways, I won’t be at late night (Knit Happens) tonight, but it’s not to cheat and go scooter riding..I have a private lesson at 7pm. Maybe I will stop by afterwards…
