The end to a great class

The end to a great class

Lace bodice classTonight was the last night of the Fitted Lace Bodice class. It worked out to be a great raglan sweater with just enough lace accents to make it interesting. (I can hardly bear to knit a stockinette stitch raglan sweater anymore). Here are Michelle, Bridget and Renee enjoying their last class together at St. Elmo’s.

Bridget is wearing her entrelac scarf, done in two colors of Louet Gems. Its an awesome scarf. They all look so happy, don’t they? Funny… because they are all in the middle of frogging or picking up stitches “post frog.” (Mostly related to an inability to count beyond 7 and not related to the difficulty of the lace pattern 🙂

My fitted lace bodice isn’t so fitted. This is mostly due to the way the yarn stretched and its my own fault for not knitting a larger swatch and blocking it. …grrr…laziness really does not pay off. So I can either try to shrink it via the dryer or gain weight until it fits. I will let you know what I decide to do. I have to finish my sleeve, start the other sleeve and then do that silly neckline.
