Allison learned to knit at a summer day camp when she was about 10 and sporadically knit long rectangle scarves and the occasional hat for years (although she is unsure she ever actually finished any) until her sister taught her how to knit socks over Christmas break in 2016. Ever since she made her first garment with her newfound knitting confidence, she has rarely been without a sweater on her needles! She loves all sweaters, but especially those with lots of texture. In addition to knitting, she has also dabbled in spinning, weaving, and pottery and is hoping to finally add sewing to that list in the near future.
Favorite yarn: I love anything soft and woolly, like Kelbourne Woollens Scout, but can’t resist the fun colors of Spincycle or even a speckle here and there!
How she likes her coffee: She doesn’t! She’s a tea girlie, usually an earl grey or a chai latte.
