All the way from England, give a warm fibre space™ welcome to Baa Ram Ewe, the awesome British yarnmakers that work with farmers, spinners, and dyers across the UK to produce amazing breed-specific wool yarns from British sheep breeds!
Spinning wool from Black Welsh Mountain, Bluefaced Leicester, Derbyshire Gritstone, Hebridean, Jacob, Masham, North of England Mule, Romney, and other breeds, Baa Ram Ewe highlights the distinct qualities that vary from sheep to sheep, celebrating the diversity of wool and the incredible craftsmanship that goes into producing it. Happy Pride! We are so grateful to our fibre space stitcher community for being such a welcoming place for everyone. This week we`ve rounded up a few of our favorite LGBTQ+ pattern designers and their work, many of which are donating proceeds from their patterns to causes close to our hearts. If you`d like to give back locally in celebration of pride, we are partnered with Knit the Rainbow and SMYAL to accept new and unworn handmade items that will be distributed to LGBTQ+ youth in our area and beyond! Don`t forget you can join us for our Pride month Cosmic Craft nite this Sunday from 4-6pm!
Happy #FOfriday! Allison is celebrating the completion of her Tessellated Pullover by Andrea Mowry that’s been two years in the making! Don’t forget you can enter to win our monthly giveaway by posting your finished object, tagging us, and using #fibrespaceFO!

Celilo Merino Silk Fingering is a shimmering blend of ethically sourced Eri silk and organic Merino wool, spun with a 4-ply twist for a round, balanced yarn with stellar stitch definition and durability. Sea Change hand-dyes this silk blend in glowing tonal shades. Celilo’s next-to-skin softness and silky drape will shine in summery garments, shawls, and more (we love it for lace!)
