WoolDreamers La Rinconada
La Rinconada is the organic and transhumant flock of black and white Merino sheep, whose wool is used to make this wonderful yarn. This collection symbolizes togetherness and how the whims of nature allow for spectacular colors.
"Family and nature, two fundamental factors for María Pía “La More”. That’s what they called her in her town because she was distinguished from her two sisters by the dark color of her hair. Her nomadic, ecological flock of black and white Merino sheep (listed as endangered) reflects the essence of her family, in which physical differences make them even more special.
This collection symbolizes this union and how the whims of nature allow us to create families and spectacular colors. It is so natural that you will be able to see small traces of grass on your yarn.
In addition, this collection contains a small tribute to our friends from the El Castellar and Asprona Occupational Center, whose label drawing has been designed by one of its members, Santi Rodríguez.
