Dawn was introduced to knitting and tatting as a child, but music became her main artistic focus through university. She picked it back up in the 90s and it became a great way to pass the time on public transit, and a form of calming meditation. A largely self-taught knitter, she relishes learning new techniques and fibre skills. In the past five years, she has picked up crochet, and recently, added spinning to her list of fibre addictions. She loves to share her enthusiasm for fibre craft with others, especially those who might use it to soothe anxiety and depression.
