Monica first experienced the world of fiber arts while on a boat in Alaska! A coworker was knitting the most beautiful shawl to fill the downtime, and it inspired Monica to pick up the craft. Monica started with crochet and has made many scarves, hats, and blankets. Her favorite finished crochet project is a unicorn costume for her sister’s
dog, Callie. Last year, she started knitting and is having a blast learning the ins and outs of the knitting world. She is most interested in projects with fun textures and projects that showcase some of the fun critters of the world.
Favorite yarn: Pascuali Arctic Pearl (I love the idea of a yarn created from seaweed!) and Spincycle.
How she likes her coffee: Hot mocha with an extra shot. I need the coffee to be strong!
