Anishi fell in love with crochet as a child when she began making hats to fundraise for her local theatre. Though she had sat through several knitting lessons with her grandmother throughout childhood, she never truly got into it until college. Both of these art forms have been a way for her to connect with her family and community, and she looks forward to sharing that with the fibre community here in Alexandria!
Favorite yarn: My current favorite is Spincycle Dream State. I have been eyeing several colorways, just waiting for the perfect pattern to use them in!
How she likes her coffee: I am more of a tea person, preferring herbal and fruit teas. My absolute favorite is a hot chai (or cha as we call in in my language), especially when it is homemade from scratch.
Favorite Old Town business: I may be biased, since I am one of the guides with this company, but I absolutely love Alexandria Colonial Tours! We have so much fun with our costumes and ghosts.
