This class is for furloughed federal workers who already have experience knitting in the round and following patterns. This class is not for new knitters. Students must be a furloughed federal employee or contractor.

Skills Learned:
- Small circumference knitting
- Magic loop or flexible double-pointed needles
Materials (the registration fee will be converted to a shop credit for supplies):
- Rye Pattern by tincanknits in any weight
- Needles of the appropriate size for the weight of sock
- Worsted Weight US 3 / US 5
- DK Weight US 2 / US 3
- Fingering Weight US 1 / US 2
- Yarn of the appropriate weight
- Approx 400 yards Worsted Weight Yarn
- Approx 400 yards DK Weight Yarn
- Approx 400 yards Fingering Weight Yarn (if the registrant chooses this option, Mitchell Wool has donated skeins of yarn)
